A monthly car rental fits a daily commute, and the published terms list 2,500 km a month for economy, standard and SUV classes, which is about 83 km a day. Excess kilometres are charged at AED 0.50 per km. If your journey to work is long, ask about a larger allowance before you decide. For a visit or a short gap, a weekly car rental avoids paying for weeks you will not drive.

Commuters usually compare economy cars, which are cheaper to run and easier to park in a tower basement or a townhouse driveway. Families who carry children, shopping and sports kit should also look at crossovers for height and boot room. Delivery to your building or townhouse
Tell us your district, building or townhouse number, the entrance and a contact number, and send a map pin. Delivery within Dubai needs at least four hours’ notice. Whether your exact address is covered, and the fee, are confirmed in the written quote, so do not assume delivery is included. Tower and townhouse parking rules vary, so arrange visitor parking or security registration before the handover.

Planning a monthly rental from JVC
Build the monthly figure from four lines: the rental rate, the deposit held on your card, Salik tolls and fuel. A commute through the main roads can cross Salik gates depending on your route, so ask for the administration fee in the quote and estimate your weekly toll count. Track one normal week of driving before you book, including school runs and weekend trips, and compare the total with the allowance.
Terms to read before you pay
At handover, record the fuel level and odometer, photograph existing marks and keep the photographs. Fuel is returned at about the level you collected. Salik is charged at the actual toll plus an administration fee and can be settled from the deposit, which is refunded within 21 calendar days after fines and other charges are cleared. A return after the grace period is charged as a full rental day. Rentals stay within the UAE unless authorised in writing.
