Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Quick Lease Car Rental LLC (“Quick Lease”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Quick Lease website, online booking services, vehicle rental services, leasing services, and related products and services provided by Quick Lease in the United Arab Emirates.

By accessing our website, submitting a booking request, making a payment, accepting a quotation, collecting a vehicle, or entering into a rental or leasing agreement with Quick Lease, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the specific rental or leasing agreement, booking confirmation, quotation, payment terms, insurance terms, Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Replacement Policy, and any other terms specifically applicable to your transaction.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any mandatory right or protection available to a customer under applicable UAE law.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

“Customer”, “Hirer”, “Renter”, or “you” means the individual or legal entity renting, leasing, booking, or using a vehicle or Quick Lease service.

“Quick Lease”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Quick Lease Car Rental LLC and its authorised representatives, branches, employees, agents, and service providers, as applicable.

“Vehicle” means the car or other vehicle supplied by Quick Lease under a rental or leasing agreement.

“Rental Period” means the period beginning when the vehicle is made available to the customer and ending when the vehicle is properly returned and accepted by Quick Lease.

“Booking” means a reservation request submitted through our website, telephone, email, branch, or another authorised communication channel.

“Agreement” means the applicable rental agreement, leasing agreement, booking confirmation, quotation, invoice, or other contractual document governing the relevant transaction.

2. General Terms

2.1 Quick Lease provides vehicle rental and leasing services subject to applicable UAE laws, regulatory requirements, licensing conditions, insurance requirements, and these Terms & Conditions.

2.2 Every rental or lease is subject to vehicle availability and the customer's satisfaction of Quick Lease's eligibility and documentation requirements.

2.3 A website enquiry or availability request does not automatically create a binding rental agreement. A booking becomes confirmed when Quick Lease has accepted the booking and issued the applicable confirmation, subject to any conditions stated in that confirmation.

2.4 The specific terms communicated in a quotation, booking confirmation, rental agreement, or leasing agreement may contain additional conditions applicable to the customer's transaction.

2.5 If there is a conflict between these general Terms & Conditions and mandatory provisions of UAE law, the mandatory legal provisions will prevail.

2.6 Quick Lease may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will apply to future bookings and transactions unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in an existing contract.

3. Vehicle Rental and Leasing Compliance

Vehicle rental and leasing activities in the UAE are subject to applicable federal and emirate-level legislation and regulatory requirements.

Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2024 on Traffic Regulation provides that vehicles must be rented or leased in accordance with UAE legislation and that vehicle rental activity may only be conducted by an appropriately licensed entity. The law also addresses driving-licence requirements and controls relating to rented vehicles.

Quick Lease will operate its rental and leasing services in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Customers must comply with all applicable UAE laws, traffic regulations, licensing requirements, insurance conditions, and instructions issued by competent authorities.

4. Customer Eligibility

4.1 Customers must satisfy Quick Lease's applicable eligibility requirements before a vehicle is released.

4.2 Unless a different requirement is expressly confirmed in writing for a particular vehicle or booking, the standard minimum age requirement for renting a vehicle from Quick Lease is 25 years.

4.3 Certain vehicle categories, insurance arrangements, rental products, or special offers may have different age or eligibility requirements.

4.4 Customers between 22 and 25 years of age may be accepted for certain rentals subject to applicable insurance terms, additional charges, vehicle category restrictions, and Quick Lease approval.

4.5 Customers must provide valid identification, driving-licence documentation, residency or visa documentation where required, payment information, and any other documents reasonably required to verify eligibility.

4.6 Quick Lease reserves the right to refuse vehicle release where the customer does not satisfy applicable legal, insurance, contractual, documentation, or eligibility requirements.

5. Driving Licence Requirements

5.1 The customer and every authorised driver must hold a valid driving licence that is legally recognised for driving the relevant vehicle in the UAE.

5.2 Only drivers approved and recorded in the applicable rental or leasing agreement may operate the vehicle.

5.3 The customer must not permit an unauthorised person to drive the vehicle.

5.4 Customers are responsible for ensuring that their driving licence remains valid throughout the rental or lease period.

5.5 Tourists and visitors must ensure that their driving licence or international driving documentation is legally recognised for use in the UAE.

5.6 Where a customer obtains UAE residency or otherwise becomes subject to a requirement to obtain a UAE driving licence, the customer must comply with the applicable UAE requirements.

6. Vehicle Condition and Acceptance

6.1 The customer accepts that the vehicle will be provided in a reasonably clean and operational condition suitable for the agreed rental or leasing purpose, subject to the applicable vehicle inspection and handover documentation.

6.2 The customer should inspect the vehicle at collection and notify Quick Lease of any visible damage, missing equipment, or material issue before using the vehicle.

6.3 Existing damage identified during the handover inspection will be recorded in the applicable vehicle inspection documentation or digital record.

6.4 Unless otherwise agreed, the vehicle must be returned in substantially the same condition in which it was supplied, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.

6.5 The customer must return all keys, documents, accessories, equipment, tools, and other items supplied with the vehicle.

6.6 Customers remain responsible for loss or damage to vehicle accessories or equipment caused during the rental period to the extent permitted by applicable law and the relevant agreement.

7. Permitted Use of the Vehicle

The vehicle must be used responsibly, safely, and only for lawful purposes.

Unless expressly authorised in writing, customers must not:

· Use the vehicle for an unlawful purpose;

· Allow an unauthorised driver to operate the vehicle;

· Use the vehicle for racing, speed testing, competitions, or similar activities;

· Use the vehicle on roads or terrain not permitted under the applicable insurance or rental agreement;

· Modify, dismantle, tamper with, or alter the vehicle;

· Apply stickers, advertisements, decals, or other permanent markings;

· Change the vehicle's window tint or other factory specifications;

· Use the vehicle in a manner that breaches insurance conditions;

· Use the vehicle to transport prohibited or unlawful goods;

· Sub-rent, transfer, sell, pledge, or otherwise dispose of the vehicle;

· Use the vehicle outside the permitted geographical area; or

· Use the vehicle in any manner that could expose Quick Lease, the vehicle, or other persons to unreasonable risk.

8. Geographical Restrictions

Unless Quick Lease provides written authorisation to the contrary, vehicles rented from Quick Lease may only be driven within the United Arab Emirates.

Cross-border travel or taking a vehicle outside the UAE is prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing and supported by the necessary insurance, permits, documentation, and regulatory approvals.

Unauthorised cross-border use may result in additional charges, insurance consequences, recovery costs, termination of the rental agreement, and other remedies permitted under the applicable agreement and UAE law.

9. Rental Period

9.1 Rental charges are generally calculated on a 24-hour rental basis, unless a different pricing structure is specified in the booking confirmation or agreement.

9.2 The minimum standard rental period is one day.

9.3 Returning a vehicle before completion of the paid 24-hour rental period does not automatically entitle the customer to a reduction or refund unless provided under the applicable cancellation or refund terms.

9.4 A standard grace period of two hours may apply to vehicle returns.

9.5 A return delay exceeding the applicable grace period may result in an additional full-day rental charge, subject to the applicable booking terms.

9.6 Customers requesting vehicle collection from Quick Lease should provide advance notice in accordance with the applicable collection arrangements.

9.7 For Dubai collection requests, customers should generally provide at least four hours' notice.

9.8 For collection requests in other Emirates, customers should generally provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Specific collection arrangements may vary depending on location, vehicle availability, operating hours, public holidays, and the customer's booking.

10. Mileage Allowance

Mileage allowances depend on the rental package selected.

Unless otherwise stated in the customer's quotation or booking confirmation, the following standard allowances may apply:

Daily Rentals

· 200 km per day, with excess mileage charged at AED 0.50 per kilometre; or

· 100 km per day, with excess mileage charged at AED 0.75 per kilometre.

Weekly Rentals

· 200 km per day, with excess mileage charged at AED 0.50 per kilometre; or

· 100 km per day, with excess mileage charged at AED 0.75 per kilometre.

Monthly Rentals

· 4,500 km per month, with excess mileage charged at AED 0.50 per kilometre; or

· 2,500 km per month, with excess mileage charged at AED 0.75 per kilometre.

The mileage allowance applicable to your booking will be confirmed before or at the time of booking.

Quick Lease may offer promotional or vehicle-specific mileage packages with different allowances or excess-mileage rates.

11. Fuel Policy

11.1 Unless otherwise specified, the vehicle should be returned with approximately the same fuel level as recorded at the time of collection.

11.2 If the vehicle is returned with materially less fuel than supplied, Quick Lease may charge the applicable refuelling cost and any disclosed service or administrative charge.

11.3 Customers should retain fuel receipts where required for verification or where specifically requested by Quick Lease.

12. Vehicle Care and Maintenance

Customers must take reasonable care of the vehicle throughout the rental or lease period.

Customers are responsible for:

· Monitoring warning lights and dashboard indicators;

· Maintaining appropriate tyre pressure;

· Reporting mechanical problems promptly;

· Following Quick Lease maintenance instructions;

· Keeping the vehicle reasonably clean;

· Avoiding continued driving where doing so could cause additional damage;

· Following manufacturer and Quick Lease instructions; and

· Returning the vehicle for scheduled maintenance when required.

Quick Lease's standard rental terms provide for periodic servicing, including an initial service at approximately 1,000 km and subsequent servicing at specified intervals. The exact maintenance schedule applicable to a vehicle will be communicated by Quick Lease and/or shown on the vehicle's service documentation.

Customers must not arrange third-party repairs without prior written approval from Quick Lease, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect life or prevent significant additional damage and the circumstances make prior approval impracticable.

13. Vehicle Breakdown

If the vehicle experiences a mechanical failure or breakdown, the customer must contact Quick Lease using the designated emergency or service contact number.

Quick Lease will take reasonable steps to provide assistance and, where appropriate and subject to availability, a replacement vehicle.

A replacement vehicle is subject to availability and may not necessarily be the same make, model, specification, or category as the original vehicle.

The customer must not continue driving a vehicle when doing so may create a safety risk or cause further damage.

Where damage results from continued operation after a warning, mechanical failure, flat tyre, overheating, or other issue that should reasonably have been reported, the customer may be responsible for resulting costs to the extent permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

14. Accidents and Vehicle Damage

In the event of an accident, theft, significant damage, or other serious incident, the customer must:

1. Ensure the safety of all persons involved;

2. Contact the relevant UAE police or competent authority where required;

3. Obtain the appropriate police or official accident report;

4. Notify Quick Lease as soon as reasonably possible;

5. Cooperate with Quick Lease, insurers, police, and other competent authorities;

6. Provide accurate information regarding the incident; and

7. Not admit liability or make settlement arrangements on behalf of Quick Lease without authorisation.

The customer must not arrange repairs independently without Quick Lease's approval unless required by an emergency situation.

Failure to report an accident or obtain an appropriate report may affect insurance coverage and may result in customer liability where permitted by the applicable insurance policy, contract, and UAE law.

15. Insurance

15.1 Insurance coverage applicable to a rental vehicle will depend on the vehicle, rental package, insurance policy, customer eligibility, and specific agreement.

15.2 Customers must comply with all applicable insurance conditions.

15.3 Insurance may be subject to exclusions, deductibles, excesses, geographical restrictions, driver restrictions, road-use restrictions, and other conditions.

15.4 The customer's responsibility for damage will be determined by the applicable rental agreement and insurance terms.

15.5 Certain items may not be covered by standard insurance arrangements, including, depending on the applicable policy, tyres, wheels, windshields, tools, wheel caps, keys, personal belongings, or damage resulting from prohibited use.

15.6 Customers should review the insurance terms applicable to their specific vehicle before accepting the vehicle.

15.7 Where a vehicle is declared a total loss, any customer contribution or liability will be determined by the applicable rental agreement, insurance policy, and applicable law.

Quick Lease's current published terms contain specific total-loss and excluded-item provisions. These should be confirmed in the customer's booking or rental agreement before vehicle collection.

16. Traffic Fines and Violations

Customers are responsible for complying with all UAE traffic laws and regulations while using a Quick Lease vehicle.

Traffic fines, parking penalties, toll-related charges, and other violations arising from the customer's use of the vehicle may be charged to the customer in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2024 establishes the UAE's current federal traffic framework and includes specific provisions concerning vehicle rental and leasing.

Where Quick Lease is required to identify the customer or authorised driver to a competent authority, Quick Lease may provide the necessary information in accordance with applicable law.

The customer may also be responsible for reasonable administration or processing charges disclosed in the applicable agreement.

17. Salik, Tolls and Road Charges

Customers are responsible for tolls, Salik charges, and other road-use charges incurred during their rental or lease period.

Quick Lease's currently published rental terms state a AED 5.25 charge per Salik crossing, inclusive of VAT and the company's stated surcharge, with applicable rates subject to change.

Because government toll rates and applicable charges may change, the amount applicable to a specific transaction will be the amount disclosed or applicable at the time the charge is incurred, subject to applicable law.

18. Parking

Customers must park the vehicle legally and safely.

Customers are responsible for:

· Parking charges;

· Parking violations;

· Towing charges caused by their use;

· Vehicle impoundment caused by their conduct;

· Loss or damage arising from unsafe or prohibited parking; and

· Applicable administrative or recovery charges.

The vehicle should be locked whenever unattended and parked in a reasonably secure location.

19. Vehicle Impoundment

If the vehicle is impounded, seized, detained, or otherwise immobilised by a competent authority due to the customer's conduct, use, violation, or failure to comply with applicable requirements, the customer may be responsible for applicable recovery, impoundment, administrative, transportation, legal, and loss-of-use charges to the extent permitted by the rental agreement and UAE law.

Quick Lease's current terms specifically provide for customer responsibility for impoundment charges and loss of rental income where the vehicle is impounded due to the customer's actions.

20. Additional Drivers

Only drivers authorised by Quick Lease and identified in the applicable agreement may drive the vehicle.

An additional-driver fee may apply.

Quick Lease's currently published standard terms state an additional-driver charge of AED 100 per additional driver, unless a different amount is stated in the customer's quotation or agreement.

The customer remains responsible for ensuring that every authorised driver meets the applicable age, licence, insurance, and eligibility requirements.

21. Prohibited Vehicle Modifications

Customers must not modify the vehicle without written permission from Quick Lease.

This includes, without limitation:

· Window tinting;

· Stickers or decals;

· Advertising;

· Mechanical modifications;

· Electrical modifications;

· Accessories that require permanent installation;

· Changes to vehicle software or systems; and

· Any modification that may affect the vehicle's safety, appearance, registration, warranty, or insurance.

Any government penalty or reasonable restoration cost resulting from an unauthorised modification may be charged to the customer where permitted by law and the applicable agreement.

22. Lost Keys and Vehicle Equipment

Customers are responsible for keys, remote controls, documents, tools, accessories, and other equipment supplied with the vehicle.

Lost or damaged keys may result in replacement, programming, recovery, and related charges.

Quick Lease's currently published terms state a minimum lost-key charge of AED 1,500, although the actual charge may vary according to the vehicle category and replacement requirements.

The applicable charge will be communicated where possible and may depend on the manufacturer's replacement and programming cost.

23. Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for their personal belongings.

Quick Lease is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or disappearance of personal property left inside a vehicle, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Customers should remove all personal belongings before returning the vehicle.

24. Security Deposit

24.1 A security deposit or pre-authorisation may be required before the vehicle is released.

24.2 The amount depends on the vehicle category, rental package, customer profile, insurance arrangement, and other applicable conditions.

24.3 The applicable deposit amount will be communicated before or during booking and may also be shown in the booking confirmation.

24.4 The security deposit may be used, subject to the applicable agreement and law, to cover amounts legitimately due from the customer, including eligible damage, fines, Salik/toll charges, missing equipment, excess mileage, fuel charges, or other outstanding contractual amounts.

24.5 Quick Lease's current standard terms provide for a deposit to be held for up to 30 calendar days after vehicle return to accommodate delayed fines or Salik charges.

24.6 Where no outstanding amount is due, the deposit will be released or refunded in accordance with the applicable payment method and processing procedures.

24.7 Bank or payment-provider processing times may affect the date on which a released amount becomes available to the customer.

25. Rental Charges and Pricing

The price payable by the customer will be stated in the applicable quotation, booking confirmation, invoice, or agreement.

Depending on the selected rental package, the price may include:

· Base rental charges;

· Applicable mileage allowance;

· Applicable VAT;

· Mandatory charges;

· Insurance components where expressly included;

· Other charges expressly identified before booking.

Optional services, excess mileage, additional drivers, tolls, fines, fuel, damage, recovery, delivery, collection, or other applicable charges may be charged separately.

The UAE consumer-protection framework recognises consumers' rights concerning the quality of goods and services and obtaining goods or services at the declared price.

Quick Lease aims to communicate applicable charges clearly before the customer commits to the transaction.

26. Payment Methods

Quick Lease may accept payment through approved payment methods, which may include:

· Visa;

· Mastercard;

· Eligible debit cards;

· Other electronic payment methods made available by Quick Lease; and

· Other payment methods expressly agreed with the customer.

Payments are generally processed in UAE dirhams (AED), unless another currency is expressly accepted.

Payment methods may be subject to payment-provider approval, card restrictions, verification requirements, and applicable transaction limits.

27. Online Booking Process

The online booking process may generally involve:

1. Selecting the desired rental dates;

2. Selecting a vehicle or vehicle category;

3. Reviewing the available offer;

4. Entering customer and driver information;

5. Reviewing the booking details;

6. Accepting the applicable terms;

7. Making the required payment or authorisation; and

8. Receiving a booking confirmation from Quick Lease.

A temporary reservation or selection on the website does not necessarily guarantee vehicle availability until Quick Lease issues a final confirmation.

28. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed when Quick Lease issues a confirmation through an authorised communication channel, subject to the terms contained in that confirmation.

The confirmation may include:

· Vehicle category;

· Rental period;

· Collection and return details;

· Rental price;

· Mileage allowance;

· Deposit;

· Insurance information;

· Additional services;

· Payment status; and

· Other applicable conditions.

Customers should carefully review their confirmation and notify Quick Lease promptly if any information is incorrect.

29. Advance and Same-Day Bookings

Quick Lease may accept same-day bookings subject to availability and operational requirements.

The current website terms indicate that same-day bookings may be accepted up to approximately three hours before rental commencement, while advance bookings may be accepted for periods extending substantially into the future.

These timeframes are subject to change and do not guarantee availability.

30. Reservation Guarantee and No-Show

A confirmed reservation is subject to the customer satisfying all applicable requirements.

Where a customer has not provided required payment or card details, the reservation may be held only for the period communicated by Quick Lease.

The current published terms provide a one-hour reservation guarantee in certain circumstances where credit-card details have not been provided. A reservation may subsequently be treated as a no-show in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and operating hours.

Customers should contact Quick Lease as early as possible if they expect to be delayed.

31. Vehicle Availability and Substitution

Quick Lease aims to provide the vehicle category confirmed in the customer's reservation.

However, circumstances including vehicle damage, breakdown, delayed return, maintenance, accident, regulatory requirements, or circumstances beyond Quick Lease's reasonable control may affect availability.

If the reserved vehicle is unavailable, Quick Lease may offer:

· A comparable vehicle;

· An upgrade where available;

· An alternative vehicle category;

· Another reasonable solution; or

· A refund or compensation where required under the applicable agreement or law.

The specific make, model, colour, registration, or specification is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

32. Cancellation, Modification and Refunds

Cancellation, modification, refund, and replacement conditions are governed by the applicable booking terms and Quick Lease's Cancellation & Replacement Policy.

Different conditions may apply depending on:

· Rental type;

· Rental duration;

· Vehicle category;

· Promotional rate;

· Prepaid or pay-at-branch booking;

· Cancellation timing;

· No-show status; and

· Other booking conditions.

Customers should review the applicable cancellation terms before making payment.

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method unless otherwise required or permitted.

Quick Lease's current website states that refunds are made through the original mode of payment.

33. Early Return

Returning a vehicle before the scheduled end of the rental period does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or reduction.

Any adjustment will depend on the applicable rental rate, promotional terms, cancellation policy, booking conditions, and applicable law.

Customers should contact Quick Lease before returning a vehicle early if they wish to understand whether any adjustment is available.

34. Late Return

Customers must return the vehicle at the agreed time and location.

A delay beyond the applicable grace period may result in additional rental charges.

If the customer anticipates being unable to return the vehicle on time, they should contact Quick Lease before the scheduled return time.

Unauthorised retention of a vehicle after expiry of the rental period may result in additional charges and other remedies available under the applicable agreement and law.

35. Prohibited Conduct

Customers must not:

· Drive under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances;

· Use the vehicle for racing or competitive activities;

· Allow unauthorised drivers to operate the vehicle;

· Use the vehicle outside the permitted geographical area;

· Tamper with tracking, safety, or security systems;

· Conceal or remove vehicle identification;

· Use the vehicle for unlawful activities;

· Carry prohibited goods;

· Overload the vehicle;

· Damage the vehicle through negligent or reckless operation;

· Use the vehicle in breach of its insurance conditions; or

· Engage in conduct that violates UAE law.

Where prohibited use causes damage, loss, liability, or expense, the customer may be responsible to the extent permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

36. Alcohol, Drugs and Unsafe Driving

Driving under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or prohibited substances is strictly prohibited.

Where an accident or damage occurs in circumstances involving prohibited substance use or other unlawful conduct, insurance coverage may be affected and the customer may be exposed to additional contractual or legal liability.

Customers must comply with UAE traffic and criminal laws at all times.

37. Maintenance and Scheduled Servicing

Customers must follow the vehicle's scheduled maintenance requirements.

Quick Lease should be notified in advance when scheduled servicing is approaching.

The current Quick Lease terms request at least two days' advance notice before scheduled servicing.

Customers must not delay required maintenance where such delay could affect vehicle safety, reliability, warranty, or condition.

38. Tyres and Punctures

Customers must use reasonable care to maintain appropriate tyre pressure and avoid continued operation of a vehicle with a damaged or flat tyre.

Tyre punctures, tyre damage, wheel damage, or related costs may be charged to the customer depending on the circumstances and applicable insurance and rental terms.

Damage resulting from driving on a flat or severely damaged tyre may result in additional customer liability.

39. Customer Responsibilities Following an Incident

The customer must cooperate fully with Quick Lease following an accident, damage event, theft, breakdown, traffic incident, insurance claim, or investigation.

This may include providing:

· Police reports;

· Accident details;

· Photographs;

· Driver information;

· Witness information;

· Insurance information;

· Relevant documents; and

· Other information reasonably required to process the incident.

Failure to cooperate may delay insurance or administrative processing and may result in additional liability where permitted by law.

40. Website Use

The Quick Lease website is provided to help customers obtain information, submit enquiries, view vehicles, request quotations, and make bookings.

While Quick Lease makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate website information, vehicle availability, pricing, specifications, images, promotions, and other information may change.

Vehicle images may be illustrative and may not represent the exact vehicle supplied.

Website information does not replace the specific terms contained in a confirmed booking or signed rental/leasing agreement.

41. Website Availability

Quick Lease does not guarantee that the website or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical issues.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict website access for maintenance, upgrades, security, technical reasons, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

42. Intellectual Property

All content on the Quick Lease website, including trademarks, logos, text, graphics, photographs, videos, designs, software, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Quick Lease or the relevant rights holder unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

43. Privacy and Personal Data

Quick Lease may collect and process personal information necessary to provide rental and leasing services, verify customer eligibility, process bookings and payments, manage contracts, comply with legal requirements, and communicate with customers.

Personal data is handled in accordance with Quick Lease's Privacy Policy and applicable UAE data-protection legislation.

Customers should review the Quick Lease Privacy Policy for information concerning personal-data collection, use, storage, disclosure, security, retention, and applicable data-subject rights.

44. Cookies

The Quick Lease website may use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, analytics, performance, security, and other legitimate purposes.

Cookie use is governed by the applicable Quick Lease privacy and cookie practices.

Customers may manage cookies through their browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

45. Third-Party Services

· Insurance;

· Vehicle maintenance;

· Hosting;

· Analytics;

· Communications;

· Customer support;

· Security; and

· Other operational services.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

46. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UAE law, Quick Lease will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include:

· Government restrictions;

· Regulatory changes;

· Road closures;

· Natural events;

· Severe weather;

· Civil emergencies;

· Third-party service failures;

· Telecommunications failures;

· Payment-provider interruptions;

· Vehicle availability issues caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control; or

· Other force majeure events.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory UAE law.

47. Customer Property and Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for personal belongings placed inside or transported in the vehicle.

Quick Lease recommends that customers remove valuables and personal items whenever the vehicle is unattended and before returning the vehicle.

Any property left behind should be reported to Quick Lease as soon as possible.

48. Contract Termination and Vehicle Recovery

Quick Lease may terminate or suspend a rental or leasing arrangement where permitted by the applicable agreement and law, including circumstances involving:

· Non-payment;

· Material breach of contract;

· Unauthorised use;

· Fraud or suspected fraudulent activity;

· Unauthorised driver use;

· Use outside permitted geographical boundaries;

· Serious damage or misuse;

· Loss of required driving eligibility;

· Material insurance breach; or

· Legal or regulatory requirements.

Where legally permitted, Quick Lease may require the vehicle to be returned immediately or take reasonable steps to recover the vehicle.

49. Non-Payment

Customers must pay all amounts due under their booking, rental agreement, leasing agreement, invoice, or other applicable contract.

Failure to make payment may result in suspension of services, termination, recovery action, applicable charges, or other remedies available under the agreement and applicable UAE law.

Electronic communications may include emails, SMS, WhatsApp messages, online notifications, or other authorised communication methods.

Electronic records may be maintained as evidence of transactions and communications where permitted by applicable UAE law.

52. Force Majeure

Neither party will be responsible for failure or delay in performing an obligation where the failure or delay results from circumstances reasonably beyond that party's control, subject to applicable law.

Force majeure events may include natural disasters, severe weather, government actions, regulatory restrictions, war, civil unrest, public emergencies, major infrastructure failures, telecommunications outages, or other comparable events.

53. Changes to These Terms

Quick Lease may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary to reflect:

· Changes in UAE legislation;

· Changes in regulatory requirements;

· Changes in our services;

· Changes in vehicle rental or leasing practices;

· Changes in payment systems;

· Changes in technology; or

· Improvements to our customer policies.

The latest version published on the Quick Lease website will apply to future transactions unless otherwise stated.

Terms specifically agreed in an existing rental or leasing agreement will continue to govern that transaction to the extent required by applicable law.

54. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and the use of Quick Lease services shall be governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, subject to mandatory provisions of applicable federal and emirate-level legislation.

The current UAE federal traffic framework includes Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2024 on Traffic Regulation, which specifically addresses vehicle rental and leasing activities.

Consumer transactions are also subject to applicable UAE consumer-protection legislation. UAE consumer-protection law applies to goods and services supplied in the UAE, including qualifying e-commerce transactions.

55. Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from or relating to a Quick Lease transaction shall be handled in accordance with the applicable contractual terms and the jurisdiction of the competent authorities and courts in the United Arab Emirates.

Where appropriate, Quick Lease and the customer are encouraged to attempt an amicable resolution before commencing formal proceedings.

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising a mandatory right or remedy available under applicable UAE law.

56. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it legally enforceable where permitted.

57. No Waiver

Failure by Quick Lease to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision in the future.

Any waiver must be expressly communicated by an authorised representative of Quick Lease.

58. Entire Agreement

The applicable rental agreement, leasing agreement, booking confirmation, quotation, invoice, these Terms & Conditions, and any expressly incorporated policies collectively constitute the contractual framework governing the relevant transaction.

Where a specific written agreement contains transaction-specific terms, those terms will apply to the relevant transaction to the extent permitted by UAE law.
