Our Car Rental Inventory
12 Vehicles FoundRent a car in Al Satwa if you live in central Dubai and need wheels for errands and work, or if you are hosting relatives and need a small car that fits the district’s tight streets. Quick Lease lists daily, weekly and monthly rental cars on this page, with compact economy sedans as the practical default for Satwa. Send your dates, your building or landmark and the number of passengers, and we confirm the price, mileage and deposit in a written quote before you pay.
Why compact suits Satwa
Al Satwa is a high-density mix of shops and private homes, set south-west of Bur Dubai with Jumeirah to the north and Sheikh Zayed Road as its southern boundary. Streets are busy with deliveries and parked cars, and many buildings have limited or shared parking. A short car is easier to place, simpler to reverse into a tight bay and cheaper to run than a large SUV for the kind of short trips Satwa residents make.
| Situation in Al Satwa | Car type to check | Plan to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Errands, market runs, school drop-offs nearby | Economy sedan | Weekly or monthly |
| Guest staying a few days | Economy or compact | Daily |
| Commute towards the Trade Centre area | Economy or midsize | Monthly |
| Family visit with luggage | Midsize | Daily or weekly |
Browse economy cars for the lowest-running-cost options, and open the midsize range if you carry passengers or suitcases regularly. Live rates are shown in the vehicle list above, and the final cost depends on dates, mileage, deposit and any extras confirmed in your quote.
Connecting Satwa to the rest of the city
Sheikh Zayed Road runs along the southern edge of the district and links to the World Trade Centre area, one of the main business addresses in central Dubai. The Dubai Metro’s Red Line follows Sheikh Zayed Road, with stations such as World Trade Centre on that side, and Al Satwa has its own bus terminal for local routes. The metro and buses cover single-destination trips well. A car is the better tool when your day has several stops, you shop in bulk, or you head up to the coast after work.
Visitors staying with family often rent for a week and use the car most heavily at the weekend. If that is you, compare the daily rental options with a weekly quote before choosing; the cheaper route depends on how many days you will actually drive.
Short stays and longer arrangements
For a few days, a daily rental keeps things simple. The published terms list 200 km a day for economy, standard and SUV classes, with excess kilometres at AED 0.50 per km, which is generous for errands inside central Dubai but easy to exceed on a day trip. For a stay of a month or more, ask about monthly car rental, where the allowance is stated per month and higher mileage options can be quoted.
Salik tolls are charged at the actual toll plus an administration fee, and traffic fines are the renter’s responsibility, settled against the deposit after the rental. Park legally: in a district as dense as Satwa, a parking fine is the most common surprise at the end of a rental.
Handover in a dense district
Tell us your building name, the nearest landmark, a map pin and a phone number. Satwa has many buildings with similar names and one-way systems around them, so a pin saves the driver time. Delivery within Dubai needs at least four hours’ notice, and whether your exact address is covered and what the fee is are confirmed in the written quote. If you will meet colleagues in the business district nearby, look at how pickup works for the World Trade Centre area as well.
Before you drive away, note existing marks, check the fuel level and the odometer, and keep photographs. Fuel is returned at about the level you collected, and the car stays on UAE roads unless Quick Lease authorises other travel in writing.
Returns deserve the same planning as pickups. Decide the return point and time when you book, allow extra minutes for busy streets, and keep the late-return terms in mind: the written terms give a short grace period and charge a full rental day after a longer delay. If your plans change, ask for an extension while the rental is still running rather than on the last day, because availability on a specific car can change from one day to the next.
If you rent for a week or more, plan the refuel before the return day rather than on the way to it. Returning the car at the level you collected avoids a refuelling charge plus the service fee stated in the terms.
Age, licence and documents
You need to be at least 21 with a driving licence that is valid and recognised in the UAE for the vehicle you rent. Drivers under 25 may be accepted subject to approval and additional charges. Confirm the document list for your residency status in the written quote. The deposit amount depends on the category and your profile, and the balance is refunded within 21 calendar days after charges are settled.
To see what else is available across the emirate, Quick Lease lists the full range on its main site.

For most errands and commutes, yes. Satwa is dense and parking is tight, so an economy sedan is easier to park and cheaper to run. Choose midsize if you carry three or more passengers or large luggage.
