Two things worth noticing in that table. First, across economy, midsize, and most of the SUV range, the discount lands right around 14%, which works out to almost exactly “pay for six days, the seventh is free,” even though QuickLease doesn't market it that way. It's also common around Eid and school-holiday periods, when families fly in for a week or two and want to move around independently rather than coordinating around someone else's schedule.

While your own car is being serviced

Dubai's workshop turnaround for anything beyond routine maintenance often runs five to ten business days, not one or two, especially if a part needs to be ordered. A weekly rental covers that gap cleanly instead of extending a daily booking day by day and losing track of the total cost, or worse, under-booking and having to extend mid-week at a worse rate.

Trying a car before a longer lease commitment

If you're seriously considering lease-to-own but want real seat time in a specific model first, how it handles Sheikh Zayed Road traffic, whether the boot actually fits what you need, whether the fuel economy matches what the spec sheet claims, a week is enough to know. A weekend isn't; you need at least one full work commute cycle and a weekend errand run to get a real sense of it. Mileage. Pick whichever's closest to where your week actually happens, not necessarily where you land. If you're staying near Downtown or Business Bay, Al Barsha or Abu Hail will usually mean a shorter delivery window than Al Quoz.

Documents Required for Weekly Car Rental in Dubai

The paperwork differs depending on whether you're a resident or visiting, and getting this wrong at the counter is the single most common reason a booking gets delayed on pickup day.

For UAE residents

You'll need a valid UAE driving license and Emirates ID. If your license is still in the process of being converted or you're driving on a temporary permit, check with QuickLease before booking.
