Let’s get started with what car hire excess insurance covers. Most car rental Dubai companies offer insurance that includes:

This waiver allows you to eliminate the charges that may arise if the rental vehicle gets vandalized, stolen, or smashed up in an accident.

Supplemental Liability insurance (SLI):

This coverage is provided for in case you accidentally damage some other vehicle during your trip with your rental car. In addition, SLI insurance coverage covers medical bills for those who get injured during the accident that your rental vehicle caused.

Personal accident insurance (PAI):

As the name suggests, PAI, covers your medical bills, in case of any accident, and of those accompanying you on the trip in a rental car.

Personal effects coverage (PEC):

PEC insurance covers your personal items and goods that get stolen or are damaged during a rental car crash. This all sounds pretty good. Car hire excess insurance actually covers you for any damage that you may cause or experience during your trip with your rental car.
